Computer security suit
I recently changed from ATT to Xfinity, ATT had free McAfee security which has discontinued.
Does Xfinity offer a free security program for customers? Out computer is connected by ethernet.
from a Xfinity gateway.

No. They used to offer Norton but that was stopped likely for financial reasons. They do have what they call "Advanced security";

But it's not the same / not enough. It is still recommended to install an anti-virus program / security suite on your computer. If you have a later flavor of a Windows O/S installed, it has a very good one built in.
