Comcast/Xfinity internet service is down again
Comcast/Xfinity internet service is down yet again, at my service address. Connection down time has been a disappointing experience in the recent past with Internet outages happening frequently, especially in the last month. When the network/ service is online, the connection is fast most of the time. However it is becoming increasingly unpredictable and unreliable. Getting customer service, also seems more uphill than it used to be. One of many examples: I wanted to share this experience in the 'Xfinity Community Forum' and was just getting ready to submit, when my submittal request page reset, totally reset out of the blue and my content was lost. I'll assume that that was simply a wacky happenstance. Even so, I've gone into notepad on my phone to rewrite this, and save content, to share my experience. I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing loss of connection more often. It also seems like it used to be way easier when Comcast/Xfinity was down, to go to a different device not using an Xfinity connection, and seek to be notified when restoration of service happens. It seems like there's way more hoops to jump through now. I was able to find out that the ETA for Restoration in my area is 9:30 p.m. however, it's really nice to get that notification that the service is working and available again. I am hesitant whenever Comcast Xfinity is promoting other services, based on my personal experience over the last several years. I like the speed when it does work, or I would have chosen a different service by now. Making the service more reliable is highly desirable.
