Comcast Hop IP generates consistently high packet loss

I am using a ping plotter application and noticing that my connection has intermittent lag spikes and high packet loss spikes. However, this seems to mainly be stemming from a hop that appears to be an xfinity/comcast ip. This ip is

2001:558:a0:f6ed::1

and the name of this that I can see is

be-501-arsc1.seattle.wa.seattle.comcast.net

this hop has a consistent 70% or higher packet loss for me and i think is causing quite a few issues. Not sure if this is something that I can route around or get fixed but hoping to find some sort of resolution for this.

As well, recently an xfinity technician came out and replaced my coaxial cables to the house because there was water and corrosion in the connections/wire. This has definitely helped the issue and made less spikes occur but there still seems to be an issue.

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Peer to peer" / "Private chat message" message to Xfinity Support:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon or https://comca.st/3wjbsKk

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

• - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

• - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it
