Comcast block my ports

Today I realize that I cant see my cameras from outside and my helium miner hotspot was relayed.

I have many port forwarding on my router but after  I put a VPN and open other ports maybe went suspicious traffic go through my IP all the ports were blocked.

Does anyone know about this?

Hello @user_be0fef. Thanks for reaching out to us through Forums. We can certainly help and try to get to the bottom of the issue. This is happening only while connecting to the VPN, correct?

Try disabling the Xfi Advanced Security feature as a work-around for now and see. It's buggy ! And there is currently no way for an end-user to be able to whitelist anything;

To disable the Advanced Security feature in xFi, select the Account icon from the top-left corner of the Overview tab on the xFi app and then select xFi Advanced Security. From here, select Disable under xFi Advanced Security and follow the on-screen prompts.

I have done port forwarding for port 44158 and I still cannot get my miner to come out of being relayed. Xfinity is somehow blocking my miner from receiving packets. I have also tried putting a DMZ on the miner IP and still nothing. This is costing me money and extremely frustrating. Have been on the phone with xfinity 3 times and still no solutions. about to change my service provider if I cant get a solution soon.

Anyone find a solution? I've got the same issue with being relayed, close to a week now with 44158 forwarded, just did the DMZ but reading this doesn't look promising.

@JeramyB Unfortunately I haven't found a permanent solution for the relayed issue. I did a reset on my miner, deleted the port forward on the Xfi settings and did a fast sync on my miner and started all over. So far a week later not relayed but not saying much. Xfinity always pushes updates and Security patches to the device. The only solution I see is returning their router and purchasing a compatible device and block Xfinity from pushing updates to your personally owned device.

How do we fix this I have a helium miner with a google mesh and xfinity keeps relaying my helium miner, I need simple 6th grade directions since xfinity changed the app on the phone and the access on the internet page to turn off my advanced security
