Coax outlets dont work in the room I want to place my Modem.

I am having trouble connecting my modem to two different coax outlets in my apartment. I want to have my router in my office and not in the living room. Thanks for your help.

Can you trace those lines back to the other end and make sure that they are actually connected to the main coax cable splitter / live Comcast feed ?

Yeah, I even have a continuity tester. I’m having trouble trying to find where that other end would even be.  I just moved into a new apartment complex.

@Lauren.575 Thanks for reaching out to our team for help with moving your modem. It's possible that outlet needs activating. I also saw your live chat and I will meet you back there to access your account for a resolution.

If that is a multiple dwelling type of apartment building, you should first contact the owner or the management / maintenance people to check into it as it is they who are responsible for maintaining the building's internal coax wiring.
