Coax outlet
I just recently moved to my new home last Friday and realized I don’t have a Coax outlet and also realized that the previous owners have had Xfinity as well. I’m wondering if an Xfinity technician can come out and install an outlet so I can connect my modem or if I have to hire a third-party

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi @user_aosjir! Thank you for reaching out on our Xfinity Community Forum! Congrats on your new home! We can definitely help with getting an outlet set up.
If your home already has a prewired coax outlet, a technician can activate or reconnect it. If not, they can install a new outlet by running a line and adding a wall plate. The professional installation fee typically covers either scenario, and we’ll make sure the proper outlet codes are added for any TVs or services you plan to use.
So we can get a little more context, do you already have active services with us or a pending order?
We're here to help!
