CM2050V

Modem: Netgear Nighthawk CM2050V

Router: Asus RT-AX82U

No data transfer despite having internet connection. Sometimes data transfer happens again w/o rebooting either modem and/or router.
Had working internet for 12 month, no problem.
On site technicians are unable to figure this out because we have connection but no data transfer. Any help would be amazing!

Thank you, Jessie, for your comment. Xfinity still supports the modem I am using (I just checked the approved modem list). So this is not the issue. I just obtained a brand new modem, the same model and router, same model, and it's not working either. I was able to activate and connect the modem via Xfinity just fine, and tech support can access the modem remotely as well.

Also, all the connections coming to the house, within the home, are working just fine.

Netgear tech support suggests that the firmware or any other security setting built-in with Netgear modems may not be current on Xfiniti's site. Therefore disconnect is happening but not automatically restored. However, if this is the case, why is data transfer enabled again w/o restarting the modem or router?
