I had a CM1000 that I constantly had to reset about once a week due to no internet. Router was up and running fine. I can send the reset signal to it from the xfinity app and it would come up and work for about another week and do it again. I ended up buying a CM1200 thinking it may be the modem but its still doing the same thing. I cant login to the modem when this happens but can send the reset signal like before or just unplug and plug back in. My main cable line comes into the house and goes straight to the modem and thats it. I have tightened the coax connection. Im starting to think xfinity sends something to [Edited: "Language"] it to make me get fed up and rent their modem. This is ridiculous.
Happened tonight around 620pm 11/14/24

@Borchaw Hello and good evening. Thanks for adding to the community. We appreciate it, and are happy you thought of us to assist. We have the best tools, just like the Xfinity Assistant. It is the best resource to manage the account and service online when we are not available. It is my favorite as I can check the service health, and also reboot the wifi for dinner time. That ensures the kids come to eat, and that makes me very happy. Here is a link that I found for you to make it easy to use https://www.xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/. It also helps troubleshoot connection issues, and help schedule a tech if its not resolved remotely. I have the 1000, a great device and should be good beyond the launch of DOCSIS 4.0. The modem may not be receiving the best signal in these cases. Have you eliminated any splitters and tested the connectivity at the source that comes into the home, or as close as possible?
