I just received a notification through the Xfinity app that a device named cloudnet has been successfully connected, but I'm not sure what this device is.

You have reached the right place for help, user_pmr88b. When a device first connects to your home network, you'll see the default name of the device, which is either the manufacturer-set name (i.e., hostname or MAC address) or the name. Did you know you can pause the device by selecting the device from Wi-Fi? This will stop the device from accessing your home network and after you can change your network name and password.
