Checking on status of a service ticket

I recently moved into a new construction, and scheduled Xfinity internet install.  The gentleman who came out said I need to have a bucket truck come out and run a wire from the main Comcast box to my home.  I believe he put in a ticket, but I have no idea how to check the status of that ticket.  How can I get information about a submitted ticket, or submit one myself?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Good afternoon user_0rarfq. I would be happy to look into this for you. I would need some additional information, so that I could check on this end for a ticket or any further information.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
