Changed my wifi name and devices won't connect

I changed the name and password of my wifi. I then tried to reconnect my devices to the wifi but it kept saying I am putting in an incorrect password. I checked and I was putting the password in right. I also restarted my devices and my wifi modem multiple times. It was saying that it was working but no devices were connecting to the wifi new name. I did change the name through the app so I don't know if that played into the problem.

On your devices,  try "forgetting" the old network SSID (and the new one if you entered a password for it).  Try to start clean again.

Sometimes it helps.

I called xfinity customer support and worked it out with an employee. It works now.
