Change WAN IP Address on Customer Owned Equipment
Hello XFINITY Community,
Recently I have run into an issue that has required me to change my WAN IP Address, however with a customer-owned modem, Comcast has insisted it is not possible for them to renew the DHCP Lease to provide me a new IP Address.
Account Type: Residential
IP Type: Dynamic (No Static IPs on my acct)
I have escalated through Tier 1, Tier 2, and the Advanced Technician Queue. Always ending in the same result.
Has anyone else ran into this issue?
