Change in WiFi signal?
Some of my smart devices requiring a 2.4 GHZ network will no longer connect to my gateway. I have an XB8. Have Comcast initiated an unannounced change to my WiFi signal?

Can you double-check that the bands are still split? To split Xfinity WiFi bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), you'll need to use the Xfinity app and navigate to the WiFi settings. Then, you can edit the WiFi settings to rename the bands with separate names, allowing you to connect specific devices to either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz network. user_w5e6fh
