Certain websites SUPER SLOW on any Xfinity router??
I have a number of personal custom websites [hosted by FatCow] and when I access them by any internet provider they are super fast and responsive and everything is perfect. The second I switch to either my personal Xfinity Wi-Fi router at home *OR* any public “xfinitywifi” router all of these websites are ridiculously slow and unresponsive and it takes like 10 seconds to load anything at all. Then when I switch back to cellular or any other Wi-Fi, everything is perfect again.
I have reset all browser caches including cookies and DNS and literally anything else…I have also tried this with three different machines with three different operating systems, and both Chrome and Safari on all three of these, and the exact same thing happens each time.
Is this a known issue? Is Xfinity somehow super throttling traffic to these FatCow websites for some reason? Is there any way to fix this??

I have had a very similar problem the past four days. It affects only certain websites, and only some of the time, including "comcast.net". I get connection-timed-out errors from the browser. Sometimes I will eventually get a response from the webpage, after several seconds or minutes, other times never get a response. If I try to refresh, I may get an instant response that time, or no response again. This has affected all devices in my home, including a PC directly connected to the router via ethernet, so it isn't a device or Wi-Fi problem. It affects Edge, Chrome and FireFox, so it isn't a browser problem. Cable TV is unaffected, and my general Internet speed is normal, 400+ Mbps. I live near St. Paul, Minnesota, and my modem/router reports the default gateway IP address as 24.118.132.1. A couple other websites I have had frequent problems with include "duckduckgo.com" and "arcamax.com", but I don't believe the websites are at fault. It seems more likely to be an Xfinity server or network issue. Xfinity support so far has only had me power-cycle my modem/router, which didn't change anything. They now want to send a technician to my house in a couple of days, but it seems very unlikely the problem is with my equipment or home network.

I had the same problem start today. Any domains, URLs, etc. associated with my hosting service are extremely slow or unresponsive when connecting through my home service. Access is fine when off xfinity. I spent over an hour with tech support with no solution.

@user_248bb9
Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks.
For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on an old thread can delay getting help.
