Capped Upload Speed

I recently signed up for a 1 Gig Download and 1 Gig Upload plan. I also upgraded my modem so it can handle higher upload speeds. However, I seem to be capped at 100 mbps upload. I'm also getting ~700mpbs download speed, which I'm not that concerned about.

My modem is Arris S34 and I know it can't reach the advertised upload speed of 1 Gig, but I'm confident that it should be able to handle 100+ mpbs no problem.

Attached are screenshots of the plan I selected and my account details showing a cap of 100mpbs on upload. How can I get my upload cap closer to the advertised speeds I signed up for?

Good afternoon zaunza we can certainly take a look into your account for you.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.

Providing an update for anyone who may come across this post. The symmetrical speeds are only available to Xfinity's XB10 modem. If you own your own modem, you're limited to their Genesis upload speeds of 100mpbs.
