Can't split 2.4 and 5 ghz

I have tried advanced setting through the app and it only says 2.4 and 5 at the top with no options to click or edit anything. My modem was sent from Xfinity. I have Xfinity now 200

user_ejp28t Our newer modems (XB6 of higher) are upgraded with software that manages advanced Wi-Fi settings automatically to help optimize your home network and provide the best performance possible. If you have this modem or newer, then you will not be able to make those changes manually. We are not able to make those changes also.

It seems that XFinity is on a path to eliminate the ability of customers to split 2.4 and 5 channels under different SSIDs.  This is a disaster for those of us that have older devices that require named separation between these channels.  My weather station won’t be able to work … my security system will have trouble, my voice-controlled switches won’t work.  I will be forced to switch from XFinity to another provider if they don’t come up with a solution for this.
