Can't ping (IPv4) either of my Comcast locations

I have 2 Xfinity accounts at two widely separated locations. I can remotely log in to each from the other using TailScale\NoMachine or TeamViewer. But ping or tracert both timeout with no packets using the IPv4 address. Also port forward to a camera works at one of the sites but not the other. Similar Netgear routers are used at each site. Why doesn't ping work? Tracert gets to the right county then times out at the site.
