Can’t open the Xfinity Hotspots App & can’t connect to XFINITY Private Wi-Fi, certification says “Not Trusted”

Ok, 1st issue:

I’ve had this problem happening for well over a year now where I can’t use the Cfinity Hotspots App. I can download the app, but when I try to open it, it flickers offscreen and  closes itself out.

I’ve tried everything, offloading, reloading, deleting, re-installing. Shutting the phone off & back on. Hard reseting it. Made sure I don’t have too many managed devices (only have two so well under the limit). Also within this time I also got a new phone, and the SAME thing is happening on it.

2nd issue:

I can’t connect to XFINITY private wifi either. I can see XFINITY in wifi list, click it, sign in with my credentials, then it pops up with the certificate to install profile & says “Not Trusted”.

It’s not expired, I checked.  I’ve had this profile downloaded on my phone in the past without this issue.

I talked to customer service and they were no help at all.
Does anyone know what’s going on? Help please?!
