Can't login locally to the newly replaced Xfi XB8 gateway

help,

Xfinity tech was here this AM and replaced the XB7 with a newer XB8 and now I can't login to https://10.0.0.1   with Admin   username   password:   password    also tried nothing   

I've been locked out for 5 minutes.  The tech was able to pull the configuration info from the old gateway (same SSD's and wifi passwords so I assumed the login info would be the same. I also tried using the default password printed on bottom of gateway without success.   What is the default username and password if I do a factory reset if I'm forced to or can tech support reset it if i call in?  Also, can it be reset with the xfinity app?
