Can't get Next Gen Speed Tiers with Ubiquity UCI

I previously had xFi plans/speeds w/ 150mpbs+ uploads, but inadequate wifi from the Xfinity router.  I upgraded my network to Ubiquity UCI plus Unifi UDM, Switch, & 3 APs.  I chose the Ubiquity UCI because its specifically listed on the Xfinity site as Next Gen Speed Tier capable at 2.3Gbps downloads and 474mbps uploads, so I was hoping for faster uploads as well.

After activiating the Ubiquity UCI, my plan changed to 1300/40.  Now I cannot get the xFi, X2 or any plans to enable uploads beyond 40mpbs.  I spent hours this weekend on chat and phone calls with billing, tech support, and advanced tech support.  No one has been able to help.  Billing/sales says they can't add the plan because "maybe your modem isn't capatible" (which obviously isn't true), so "call tech support or go to a store".  Tech support was not helpful at all.  Advanced Tech Support says they can't provision the modem with the correct bootfile until a Next Gen plan is provisioned, so to call billing.

Has anyone solved this?  Xfinity I need to help please!

Hello, @user_hwxdkk thank you for creating a post. You've contacted the right place for assistance, and would be happy to look into the upload speed issue if this is still needing to be addressed.

I'm seeing the Ubiquity UCI equipment still on the next gen compatibility document, so it should definitely be able to handle the higher upload speeds: https://assets.xfinity.com/assets/dotcom/projects/cix-4997_compatible-devices/2025.03.06%20Full%20List%20of%20Compatible%20Devices.pdf

Please follow up at your convenience, I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hello, @jacktronics I can review your account to make sure you have the next generation upload speeds working correctly on your account. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!
