Can't connect to xfinitywifi on one device

I have been using an xfinitywifi connection for months now at my office building without hiccups, what's a steady signal. Friday I was able to connect on my phone, but my laptop would not connect. Today the problem persists: 5 bars of stable wifi on my phone, but I just get a "can't connect to this network" message on the laptop. Works fine on my home wifi.

I tried forgetting the network in the hopes that I could reconnect manually with my username and password but no such luck. Any guidance appreciated.

Google for how to reset the network stack for the OS you are using.  Try rebooting the modem/router and the laptop (yes, that sometimes sorts out problems like the one you are having.

Thank you for reaching out to us here on our Xfinity Forums! I'm truly sorry to hear that you are having difficulty connecting one of your devices to the Wi-Fi. Just to clarify, you are attempting to connect using a public Xfinity Hotspot? If so you are only able to have 10 devices registered to use on the Hotspots.

I would first recommend checking out the devices you have registered for use. This link will walk you through how to do so and how to remove any devices you no longer have, like an old smart phone you've upgraded: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/manage-wifi-devices-my-account I know that I've run into this because we had old devices that were registered and I couldn't get the latest one to access the hotspot until I removed the old ones.

@XfinityBillie; the link you provided is inaccurate.  When your open the My Account app, there is no icon or link to 'Services'.  I have tried on PC, android, and ipad.
