Can’t change connection type on ps5

Hi I’ve recently moved into a new place and my PlayStation 5 has terrible connection to the router. It’s currently on 2.4ghz but I’d like to change it to 5.0ghz I’ve tried the xfinity app and the 10.00.01 website and neither lets me change my device to the connection type I want. Anyone else have this issue? Please help!

Hello there user_le1y77 in the Xfinity App, there is a setting to Split Bands. This is found under Wi-Fi Tab---Wi-Fi Details---Edit Wi-Fi Settings---Split Bands(Not Recommended) The XFi Advanced Gateways now automatically detect how far from the modem a device is and connects to the band most adequate for an optimal connection.
