Can't access yahoo.com

Are you in the Bay Area? I'm having the same issue with specific websites. Going nowhere with the customer chat right now

Yeah, I'm in SJ too.  Hopefully one of the Xfinity employees finds this and provides an update since the first level support on chat does not understand the issue and keeps asking me to reset my modem.

This issue has happened before so I know it is definitely an issue on Xfinity's end. For now, I'm using a VPN or hotspot to connect to the websites that don't work. 

I'm seeing the same thing in Napa County.  Can't connect to opendns.com, or yahoo.com for that matter.

Okay after my third agent, they confirmed that they are aware and said this regarding timeline "So they have said that this should be resolved within the next 4-5 hours by them."

Glad to hear Xfinity is working on this.  We are in Livermore, Ca and I've been unable to my Chase Bank website, although other websites are opening fine.  Tried Chrome instead of my Edge browser, still didn't work.

For me the problem was fixed around 1:30pm.

Works for me now too.
