cannot send traffic on port 3389

I just upgraded to an XP7 cable modem.  I on the XP6, I had no trouble sending traffic out using port 3389.  Now I can't

I know it is the XP7 blocking the traffic, because I can connect the same computer using the same software and configuration over port 3389 using my wireless hot spot.

This is an out bound traffic problem.  It is not a port forwarding problem.  My port forwarding is working fine.

Please help.

Thanks,

user_sntv02 Thank you so much for stopping in for help with your port issue. 3389 is not on our blocked list. We would only limit traffic if a security issue was flagged. With the update to an XB7 Xfi gateway, I would go back and double-check the port settings, including the IP information. Sometimes with equipment changes, if you disable the port forwarding and reset the modem before setting them back up, customers have luck as well.
