Cannot print to Epson printer singe installing Gateway XB8

Received the Gateway XB8 and cannot get epson 4760 to connect. Printer says it is connected to wifi but it is not. I had not problems before getting the XB8. I have changed security to WP2, it worked for a few minutes then went back off line. Printer does not show up in connected on not connected device list on Xfinity app. I have unplugged printer and it will work for a minute and go offline again. I have connected printer with ethernet to Eero pod I have next to it, still does not work. Are Epson printers not compatible with the XB8?

Hey there, @user_9q85cu. Have you reached out to Epson for tech support? The printer should definitely connect to the internet when connected via ethernet cable. That bypasses any sort of WiFi version issue.

Well it don't! I have had technician work on the problem. Could not make it work. I need to file a complaint with Xfinity.

user_gyt1xj - Thank you for joining us on the Xfinity Forums and allowing us the chance to help with your Epson Workforce 645. I've located the quick start pdf guide. From the guide, Connection options - Wireless connection:
You must install the software on every computer from which you want to print. For the first installation, we recommend using a temporary USB cable connection to simplify wireless
setup. After the printer is connected to the network, you will be prompted to remove the cable. Can you confirm you've completed this step?
