Cannot activate 2nd gen Xfi pods

I am a two Xfinity home network user and have activated numerous 1st and 2nd Gen Xfi pods before. I have 2nd gen Xfi pods I am trying to activate on my network (they came from my previous home, different network name). I have tried the normal procedure - no luck. I have tried another form recommendation that involves reactivating my gateway - this has not worked. The pod itself goes through the pulsing green, then blue, then persists pulsing white. I have found no reset button on the pods. I have updated my Xfinity mobile app. What is consistent throughout is when I try activating the pods from the app, it *immediately* goes to the "Let's Try That Again - Sorry, we ran into a problem..." screen with the "Try Again" button. Selecting that button gives a quick screen change to the previous "Begin" screen, and then immediately goes back to "Let's Try That Again" screen.

Please help!

I am having this same issue, I have done everything I can think of and have searched for in this forum, and cannot get my Gen 2 pod to activate. It forever blinks white and then tells me too bad. Is there a follow up answer to this?
