Can not log in to Gateway admin tool at http://10.0.0.1

Just got new Gateway gigabyte modem but I am unable to set up my printer on wifi network. Never had problem before. I believe I have found solution, but I need to log in to admin tool and have no luck. No help from xfinity.

Hi @user_b99346, thanks for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. Welcome to the community! I am sorry to hear you have had troubles hooking up the printer. I certainly understand the headache trying to get a stubborn device online will cause. Our community is happy to help! I do have a few questions. Is this a gateway you rent for Xfinity? If it is a rented Gateway have you tried logging on to the xFi app? This app will be the go to spot for controlling all your devices on the network.
