Can no longer manage ghz settings?
They were just in my neighborhood doing "upgrades" and when I came back online, several of my smart plugs were knocked offline. I have to be on 2.4 ghz setting for them to work and that's usually the issue when they get knocked off the system (I have to go in and change it back to 2.4). It appears you can no longer manage this setting as it is "automatically managed" - please bring the ability to manage this setting back to the customer!! Some of us don't want all our settings automatically managed!

If you do not want to have some settings managed by xfinity, then you will need to purchase an authorized third party modem/router that is compatible with your speed tier. You will need to use the app for the smart plugs to locate and add them back into you network.

I understand how frustrating it can be when you lose control over your network settings, especially when it affects your smart devices. Many newer routers and mesh systems automatically manage the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to simplify user experience, but this can be inconvenient for devices that require a specific band.
Here are a few workarounds you might find helpful:
Distance Method: Move your smart plug to the edge of your Wi-Fi coverage area. This can sometimes force the device to connect to the 2.4 GHz band, as the 5 GHz band has a shorter range.
Router Settings: Check if your router allows you to disable the 5 GHz band temporarily. This can be done through the router's admin settings, though not all routers support this feature.
Separate SSIDs: If your router supports it, you can create separate SSIDs for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. This way, you can manually connect your devices to the appropriate band.
