Can I watch cable shows on my computer?

As one ex., I have the Science Ch as part of my basic package. Is there a way to watch these on my computer via my browser? If I do a search for a specific ep. I wish to watch, I find myself with a bunch of results asking me to pay to join, which I am not going to do. Any ideas?
