Can I Setup a Plume-purchased SuperPod with my XB8 Gateway?

I currently have an XB8 Gateway at home, and would benefit from a Pod to extend the network, however Xfinity still offers the older pod.  Plume does offer a SuperPod with 6E and 6GHz band (so it will work with the 6GHz band on the gateway).

Is it possible to have the Xfinity firmware added to a Plume-purchased SuperPod, or will Xfinity offer 6E-capable pods soon?
