Can I install a second router
My xFi modem/router is in a room with brick walls (not good for coverage). I have a cable connecting the router via a switch to another room with less obstruction.
Question: Can I connect another router or other device to that second cable and imptove coverage through the rest of the house. If so, what device would I use . . . any recommendations?

While technically possible, it is difficult to set up a second wireless router. A better option would be to use a range extender; it would depend on what modem/router you have now. You might also want to goole 'powerline adapter'.
Good luck!

Hi, there @robert_ka06103! Thank you for spending your time today to reach out to XFINITY for help with finding out if you can install a second router. As @NoNoBadPuppy mentions, it is possible but can be difficult. We also recommend a range extender such as are xFi pods. Have you heard of them?
