In this instance, this isn't something we would offer as the cable modem uses a coax cable to communicate with your ISP and connect to the Internet.

The modem operates like a digital translator, translating the data from your ISP via a coaxial cable into something your modem can understand. From there, your router then distributes the signal to your devices via Wi-Fi.

If you're looking for a type of internet service that does not operate over a cable network infrastructure, there are services available such as a portable hotspot device or a mobile hotspot.

I have asked this question time and time again, but for some reason I keep getting told it it is not necessary to have a coax cable, I would like some clarification and would like you to elaborate on that, because I'm having issues activating my device I've scheduled a service tech to come out, but if I can get insight and fix this problem beforehand it'll be worth it

The only thing I can think of for you being told that is that there are modems available that use the cellular network and 5G to give you internet access.  There are downsides to this, as they all throttle your connection after you have reached a certain limit in GB.  I have seen it offered on a competitors website.  Perhaps you should google to see if any are available in your area.
