Can I get an IPv6 address?

Does my current xfinity offer ipv6 address?    I'm not sure if my fortigate router is misconfigured or if it's not being provided ipv6 address just wondering no need to keep messing with the firewall config if it's not offered?

AFAIK, they are dual-stack throughout their footprint.

Ok then, so basically if my router is configured correctly I should also pull an IP v6 address along with the IPv4.

Thanks

Yes. If the settings are present and configurable, use DHCPv6 with PD (Prefix Delegation) and RA (Router Advertisement. You may need to also allow ICMPv6. Good luck !
