Cable still not buried

Back on May 21st of 2026, I started having issues with my internet speed. As in 6 Mbps. I scheduled to have a technician come out to take a look. The technician arrived and then did his tests. He concluded that the line was bad and that he needed to replace the line. He replaced the line with an above ground orange temporary line. He assured me that they would be out in 7 to 10 business days to bury the line. That came and went. I've opened several tickets with Xfinity Support, one about a week after the initial technician, (because it slipped his mind to put in a request), then they put in on the schedule. I have tried to stress about the fact that I live in a Condo complex with dog walkers. On multiple occasions for no explainable reason the tickets have been marked as completed, despite the neon orange cable being still above ground. It's now been almost 7 weeks of nothing happening, with whoever from customer support closing a ticket as complete, that they never  completed any of the work. The temp cable runs from the back of my building to the back of another building. I live in a neighborhood with many children, elderly people, and landscapers. So far the line is intact, however the elderly people in my area walk of their dogs on a regular basis. I would point out that they might not be able to see a cable like that and could in fact trip and break a hip or worse. At that point, they or their family members may feel they are entitled to compensation.

I called May 21th, May 28th, and twice in June of 26. One of the original incident numbers was ECM0022712255, which the Rep vehemently stressed had been completed...... Despite the orange cable still stretched across the yard. Rep also refused to move my ticket up a level to someone who could understand what is going on.
