Cable Modem Connection Info

I have a Netgear CM1150V cable modem. Below is the current status for the cable modem after being up for 24 days.

Are the values for the Correctables and Uncorrectables normal?

Also, are the power level and SNR values within a good range?

Thanks

The downstream power levels are on the low / weak side but are still in spec. And there may be a large number of uncorrectable bit errors on some of the channels depending on the total uptime of the modem since the last re-boot / power cycle operation. The upstream power is fine.

Are you actually experiencing any connectivity problems ? If not, then don't sweat it.

Thanks for the info. I was just curious about the information for the cable modem. Any reason why the errors only occur on some channels?

As for issues, I do see issues from time to time. I am responsible for a Citrix environment which can be sensitive to network latency changes. During the day, I will see the ICA latency between home and work spike. I run continuous pings to my home router and www.microsoft.com to see if there are changes in response times. This helps me determine if the latency change is wifi related, internet related or other.

I do see times where the local ping is constant, but the Microsoft response drops. Obviously, the internet is the internet and response times will vary. I just try to do my due diligence to make sure everything is good on my home network.

I appreciate checking the cable modem stats.

Because spurious noise ingress into the closed system can occur at specific frequencies and are not necessarily global to the system bandwidth.
