Buying my own Modem/Router
In order to save $14 a month I am thinking about buying my own Gateway. My concern s setting all this up. One concern is calling Xfinity to register my device and whatever else I need to do and getting someone on the phone. If I bought a compatibleapproved Modem/Router Combo and go to my local Xfinity store a couple miles from my home would they be able get everything set up so I could take it home and attach all the wires and plug it in. Thanks for any assistance in this matter.

It's a pretty easy layout, and it will suggest the best Xfinity approved modem depending on your speed tier. It does all the hard work for you which is nice.
