Bridge mode Xfinity now service

Unable to activate bridge mode.  Unable to access modem turn off Wi-Fi.  Unable to change SSID and password.  No admin tools available in app.  Resetting did not make a difference. I can see the web page  10.0.0.1 admin password and admin SSID password do not work.

@user_7q8uqf, thanks for providing those details. Since you've already reset the gateway and still can't access the Admin Tool at 10.0.0.1, change the Wi-Fi settings or enable Bridge Mode. I will need to take a closer look at the modem's provisioning and management settings. Please send us a direct message with your full name and address.
Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary.
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support."
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.

I have not been able to resolve it. I did try an additional reset, still did not work. I have sent a direct message from recommendation of Xfinity employee above. Will update if we get a resolution. Pretty sure that is just not available on the Now service. Some response from others have indicated it has worked for them on the Now service on more than one gateway, so we will see.
