bridge mode steps for mesh router setup

Hello, I am planning on enabling bridge mode on my XB8 soon and connect that to a Mesh router from TP-Link. I would like to know what the necessary steps in detail are. I currently have the XB8 and two gen 1 xfi pods. This is my assumption based on the research I've done. Please let me know if I'm missing anything or if there is any steps I'm listing that are NOT necessary. 

Steps:

1. use app to remove xfi pods from account

2. plug laptop into XB8 modem/router directly with ethernet cable

3. access admin page and toggle bridge mode on

4. log out of XB8 modem/router

5. Unplug XB8 Modem/router and leave off for 30-60 seconds

6. Plug in Mesh Router with ethernet cable to XB8 modem through 2.5gb port 4

7. plug in and turn on XB8 Modem and wait to fully boot up.

8. plug in power to mesh router and wait for it to fully boot up.

9. configure new mesh router with existing SSID and password settings from XB8 

10. Check wifi on my phone or other device to make sure network is broadcasting.
