Both my computers are on some type of device pause lock

For some reason ever since I upgraded my router both my computers(Ethernet connected) have been on some sort of pause lock. I went on the application and it says both computers are not paused and both are running fine healthy connections.. complete lie. I tried troubleshooting for hours with no luck then finally called customer service and for one hour they told me to go to command prompt but yet nothing they said fixed the issue, at one point they wanted me to reset my google setting.. which I did but still questioned why that would have fixed it.. it wasn’t just my google that wasn't working. (they couldn’t answer the question) I finally then asked to maybe get another modem to see if maybe that new one I just got had some malfunction in it and once I got home and set it all up.. the same thing happened again. I can’t find anyone that’s had and fixed the problem, just people that said they’ve been dealing with it and regardless of how many attempts from Xfinity, they just haven’t fixed it.
