Both internet and cable tv down

What normally causes both the internet and cable tv both not to work when it isnt an outage in the area?  Tightened cables, unplugged modem, etc, but still out.

I’m having this same issue. I seen wine solution that says “forget network” but it won’t even let me choose the network, it literally doesn’t even pop up as a an available option. How does that work?

To confirm, are your service still down? If so, we'll be happy to help troubleshoot. Are you experiencing any error messages or codes on your TV screen? Is the power light on your modem on, off or flashing?
