Block VPN

Kids are using VPNs to get around parental controls and the VPNs slow down the Wi-Fi significantly.  How can I block all VPNs?  We do not need any VPN in our home for any reason.

Welcome to the community @user_a6dac4! I would be happy to investigate a way to help you. This situation certainly sounds frustrating. First, are you using a Comcast rental modem? If you own your own modem and router, what is the make and model?

We are using the modem supplied by xfinity, I believe it's an Arris.

Got it! What devices are the kiddos using the VPN connections on to get around the parental controls?

They have iPhone, Google Pixel phone, MacBook, desktop and maybe Xbox. I think it's mostly the phones, but I'm not certain.
