blinking orange

Hi, I’m setting up my Xfinity modem and it’s only blinking orange. I already tried restarting it and checking cables, but it won’t connect. Also, it makes a strange noise like something is loose inside. I think it might be broken. Can I speak to a representative, please?

If the modem is making sounds that would indicate a hardware issue, I would recommend swapping that free of charge at your local Xfinity Service Center. Please be sure to use that link to schedule an appointment beforehand so you can save time waiting in line.
