Blink sync module will not connect

I exhausted troubleshooting ideas with Blink and we decided it is an Xfinity/Gateway issue. I have followed several posts here regarding the same issue. I have also tried all of the suggestions here and continue to receive a Connection Failure error.
Please help as it has been 2 weeks without connection.
Thanks in advance.

@user_epynup Thanks for adding to the community. That is strange, if all other devices work and log on to your network, it may be a setting or issue with the device. Xfinity Stores have modems you can swap for free. Have you reset the modem and the Blink device to factory settings? I have both, and they work perfectly with each other.

Thanks for your response. I didn’t know about the free modem swap. I will try that next. The sync module was working previously. For some reason it went offline and I cannot get it to connect back to WiFi.
I WAS able to get it to connect through my iPhone hotspot, so that’s why Blink told me it was probably a setting in my modem. I am familiar with accessing all the modem settings via the IP address but I couldn’t identify anything that might affected it - but I’m not an expert.
I also tried splitting the modem between bands.

user_epynup Thank you for the additional details. When you split the network, did you see a temporary network "Blink" something? Are your networks still split, or did you turn it off?

The split did not work so I turned it off. I do see the temporary Blink network when I try to connect. But it never connects and I get a connection error that suggests the password is wrong. I can try the split again, but other devices that use 2.4 connect fine as it is. Maybe I need a new Blink module. But it connected via a hotspot so I’m confused.

I am also having the same issue.  I get the temp blink network but the module will not connect to home network.  Blink said it was the whitelist.  I went through router settings and the device is listed but will not connect. Frustrated.

Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks. The original poster has not returned. 5-month-old dead thread is now being closed.

For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on someone else's older thread can delay getting help.
