Blink sync module disconnected after update and cannot reconnect via Xfinity

Suddenly for some reason not able to reconnect Blink via Xfinity after several years of working with no problems. This is the second time that this has happened in a couple of months following Blink firmware updates. Infinity was able to reconnect for me the previous time.
Steps we have taken:
- reset xfinity modem - multiple times
- reset blink sync module - multiple times
- checked / updated blink firmware
- connected blink to hotspot which worked confirming Blink functional
- disabled 5 g in xfinity wifi setting but still will not connect
- manually added Blink Mac address in router settings… still will not connect

Thank you,

user_mcqir3 Did you try separating your WiFi channels so that a 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz can be connected to separately? Some devices, over time, will deploy a firmware update where they will only connect if the bands are separated. Our modems, as of late, have smart technology in them where they will have the device connect to the strongest available signal, but we have found that depending on the third-party device, that may hinder it's ability to connect.

@user_ywx9rs

Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks. Solved topic is now being closed.

For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on someone else's older thread can delay getting help.
