Blacklisted Comcast IP Address
My IP address from Comcast has been blacklisted. The IP is:
73.79.251.126 (c-73-79-251-126.hsd1.pa.comcast.net)
It is blacklisted at dnsbl.spfbl.net, dnsbl.sorbs.net, and dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net, possibly since as long ago as 2013. Most of the 73.etc IP range is blacklisted. I have spent more than two hours on chat with xfinity/comcast, 2hrs 16mins on the phone talking to at least 8 different people, and have had a service agent on-site in an attempt to get my IP changed. I have rebooted my cable modem at least 10times, turned it off overnight, had it reset by Comcast, hard reset it with a paperclip, rebooted my wifi router several times, rebooted my phone modem, passed wiring thru the phone modem, hooked up my computer directly to the cable modem, all to no avail. Same IP every time since at least last Thursday when I first found the problem because my email provider told me my IP was blacklisted and they couldn't fix my broken email client. I have gone to https://postmaster.comcast.net/block-removal-request.html and the response was "Blocklist Removal Response: After investigating the issue, we have found that the IP you provided for removal is currently not on our blacklist."
I AM AT MY WITS END! HOW CAN I GET COMCAST/XFINITY TO FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!

I'm not exactly a newbie, but I have no idea how to do that. Clone a MAC address? I can't even access the router locally, lost the password years ago and entering the serial number fails (I can't even enter the full serial number, it one digit to long for the field to accept it).

If you have a router that has a MAC address cloning feature, you can try cloning a different MAC address in to it. This will force their DHCP server to assign a new / different public IP address to your connection, but be advised that the new address may be from the same block, so the problem may remain. Good luck !

Did this ever get resolved? I have the mirror image of this problem. I'm able to access my email server from everywhere BUT my home because it appears that Comcast has blacklisted traffic from my email service provider, Bluehost.
