I started a new plan and was supposed to be charged $85 for my service but was just billed $147

Hi there, user_x8shs5! Thanks for reaching out about the billing. We generate your statements a week before you are able to view them online or in the app or our website. That is the billing date shown at the top of your statements. Once your bill is generated, any changes will show on the following statement. You will see billing corrections dating back to when you made the change since we bill in advance. We are happy to check on this further. 

 

Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.

 

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
