BGP Routing Issue
Hi, I am using DNSFilter for a DNS resolver. I believe they use NetActuate for their Anycast network. Comcast peers with NetActuates Miami servers instead of Atlanta for some reason. My DNS traffic is going to Miami -- 600 miles away -- instead of Atlanta, where I live. This is adding 20-25 ms of latency to my DNS queries.
Can you reach out to your BGP/engineering team to see if this is something that can be changed so their resolvers (103.247.36.36, 103.247.37.37, 103.247.36.9, and 103.247.37.9) can hit their Atlanta anycast network for Atlanta customers?
I understand peering streaming traffic, which is significantly more bandwidth than DNS queries.
Thanks for looking into it!
