Awful Gateway Performance
I had no issues for three years with my old Gateway, but since 'updating' to XB8 wifi performance has been horrendous. Connections continually drop / devices can't connect. Restarting the Gateway seems to fix the issues, but they return after a few hours. Phones indicate that they are connected to wifi, but there's no internet data. Disconnecting / reconnecting the devices restores service, but it stops again. Issue impacts iPhones and iPads but doesn't seem to impact other connected devices. Sometimes the phone reports that it can't connect due to channel interference?

You have to disable the 'random MAC address' 'feature' on all iOS devices. It is supposed to increase security, but in truth all it does is create the nightmare scenario you describe above.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_csnh52. That is certainly an issue we can look into from here if needed. Have you tried removing that random Mac address?
