ASUS router issues with DHCP

For those who have had or are having problems where your Asus router is giving the error "Your ISP's DHCP is not functioning properly", see if any of the ideas below help.

From reading some Asus FAQ's, they are aware there are some systems with problems, and there is a setting on the WAN settings page named "DHCP query frequency".  The options are Normal, Aggressive, and Continuous. Agressive is the default. Recent firmware updates added the Continuous, and that might be one fix. Others have recommended using Normal instead of Aggressive.

EIther way, after making the change, reboot the modem and router and see if that helps.

Edited 12/17 to correct HDCP to DHCP typo.
