Arris XB6 Modem, stability and consistency issues

Hi there, I just want to check if anyone else has the same issue with this Arris XB6 cable modem + router combo? Basically, after switching to it, my internet kept dropping for ~30s or so and come back. Which basically prevents me from working from home these days. I called comcast, talked to technician and they also sent people to check my cable in person, but still the issue existed. Is there a way to swap to a non-intel chip cable modem?

Is this with a WiFi connection ? If so, for a test, does a computer hardwired directly to the gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?

I do not have any machines with ethernet cable socket. But tried both bridge and defalut modes, and experienced on and off internet from both.

Then we can't do that important test.

Then here's some WiFi stuff that you can try;

Some tips for improving WiFi performance;

There are other options. Google for WiFi repeaters / range extenders, WiFi mesh systems / pods Good luck !
